Participants were served a 3 course meals during which instruction was given on why a polite society is best, using words to be polite, etiquette through speech:

In this module, participants were guided through the process of identifying and understanding the different silverware, glassware and china they can expect to encounter during a fine dining experience. They learned when to use these items throughout the course of a meal:
Use of Napkins
Sitting Politely
Passing Food
Use of Utensils
American Style Dining
Continental Style Dining
Casual Dining
Formal Dining
Eating at School
Eating at Home
These two hour learning session were provided by the Love Plainfield project in cooperation with the members of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. , Zeta Nu Lambda Chapter.
